Conducted by Dwight Jilek, NDSU Director of Choral Activities, over 200 NDSU students in five choirs and the Baroque Festival Orchestra will present Handel’s monumental piece Messiah, which has become a holiday tradition throughout the world. Premiered in Dublin, Ireland in 1742, Handel’s Messiah combines Old and New Testament texts in one of the most memorable works of Western music.
